WHY DO WE EXIST?

Our Founder, Chris Wilson, has spent the better part of three decades delivering technology and business advice to large enterprise clients within Australia and internationally. More recently, he has focused on early stage and growth companies, focused on building innovative solutions in the impact space. 

With broad relationships and a network of specialists with a deep understanding of the growth ecosystem (including the requisite scar-tissue), we help founders reach their next milestone – from startup to scaling and beyond.

Synectics International (Synectics) was founded as the delivery vehicle for these advisory services. 

Put simply, we aim to bring strategies to life. To create clear narratives. To create clear paths for executing GTM growth plans and to build robust, sustainable businesses.

 Chris and I met at one of the worlds first digital strategy agencies in the late 90's. And to this day, he retains a first class strategic mind, always thinking through alternatives and adjacencies to provide options for a business to innovate and grow. Recently, our shared passion for tackling climate change led me to ask Chris to launch a unique accelerator, the Climate Subak, in Australia. Subak is focused on non-profits with an agreed charter to share data to influence policy and mass consumer behaviour in the fight against climate change.

I am driven by a passion to see talent and endeavour succeed and for great businesses to grow and thrive. I have three decades of advisory experience and expertise across multiple disciplines and sectors that I can bring to bear to build out growth strategies and pathways for my clients. My focus now is on working with organisations focused on the impact space ... climatetech, agtech, biodiversity, decarbonisation and new technologies such as web3 and AI, shaping the future landscape for all of us.
